The Aosta-Pila ski area consists of two resorts linked by an 18km panoramic road or by cable car. Aosta-Pila could be called a “skis-on” resort, as skiers can access the ski lifts directly from their doorstep. Located at an altitude varying from 1800m to 2750m, the Aosta-Pila ski area provides a total of 70km of pistes, 22km of which are covered with artificial snow. From the top of the pistes, you can admire a 360° panoramic view that extends from the Mont-Blanc to the Grand Combin and from the Cervin to the Mont-Rose. Aosta-Pila caters for all levels, from beginners to advanced skiers. Those who enjoy off-piste skiing will be in their element in Pila with wide natural or pisted slopes, and smooth ski runs or mogul fields. The snowpark of Pila is equipped with a very popular half-pipe. The ski-school in Aosta welcomes skiers who wish to learn how to ski as well as those who want to improve.
